How it works

Assess. Score. Map. Act.

One engine runs the whole thing. It reads a person's position across eight domains, ranks what to do next, and routes the moment a licensed person is needed. Everything a customer or an advisor sees comes out of the same model.

The five steps

From a short assessment to a decision with a number on it

01

Assess

A short, reflective assessment across the eight domains of the Longevity Preparedness Index. No jargon, no documents to gather, a few minutes to complete.

  • Works as a standalone front door on your site or in your app
  • Can be extended with connected data where a market allows it
02

Score

The result is a readiness score with a score per domain, and one weakest link named clearly. Not a dashboard with seven tabs. One picture, and the thing to fix first.

  • Domain scores that make the tradeoffs visible
  • The weakest link surfaced as the opening conversation
03

Map

The score becomes a pathway laid out by decade, from the forties through the nineties. Each part of the plan sits in the decade where it matters most, and the map updates as life does.

  • Five decade stages: prepare, transition, thrive, care, legacy
  • The map starts in the member's own decade
  • Daily habits and yearly decisions, kept separate
04

Act

An AI coach turns the map into one step at a time and can do the legwork: find the class, book the screening, surface the unclaimed benefit. Every suggestion shows what it is based on.

  • Interventions with a measurable target, delivered through classes, workshops, and coaching
  • Education so members understand the why, not just the what
  • Interest-based community, because purpose and belonging are not features of a product
05

Hand off

When a gap needs a product or a professional, the platform frames the gap and passes the client to a licensed adviser with the context already assembled. Nobody starts from a blank page.

  • Product-specific advice always routes to a licensed person
  • The adviser opens with the client's own words, not a script

The domains

One thread runs through all eight domains: every action carries a cost.

A strength class. A caregiving plan. A home modification. A decision to keep working two more years. Each one has a number attached, and that number is what turns a good intention into a decision.

That is the engine. Everything else, the coach, the console, the reporting, is a surface on top of it.

Health

Movement, food, sleep, and stress. The habits that hold up over decades.

Daily activities

The everyday things that keep a person independent for longer.

Social connection

The people close by, and how often they actually show up.

Care

Who will provide care, and who will pay for it.

Finance

Confidence that the money lasts as long as the life does.

Home

A home that still works at eighty, not just at fifty.

Community

A neighborhood you can live in without a car.

Life transitions

Retirement, health shocks, moving, and changing family roles.

The Longevity Preparedness Index was developed in collaboration with the MIT AgeLab and funded by John Hancock. LifeForward uses the eight-domain framework as its assessment layer, and is not affiliated with John Hancock or the MIT AgeLab. Read about the index.

Localization

Build once. Load the local catalog.

The member experience and the eight domains stay the same in every market. The entitlements layer changes: which public schemes exist, what they are worth, who qualifies, and what a licensed adviser is allowed to say.

Public schemes

In Singapore that means CPF LIFE, MediShield Life, CareShield Life, SkillsFuture, and Healthier SG. Other markets load their own.

Employer and carrier benefits

Screenings, allowances, coaching, and cover the member already has and usually does not claim.

Regulatory routing

Advice thresholds and disclosure rules configured per market, so the same journey stays compliant everywhere.

See it running with your own products in it.

A demo walks the engine end to end: the assessment, the score, the roadmap, the coach, and the advisor console.
